Credentials
I work with adults who want to expand their sense of self, to express more life vitality. We build new resources from experiences of childhood instability, grief and loss, and internalized white supremacy patterns.
Clothed touch work includes Transforming Touch, an attachment-focused touch to build the stability of regulation.
Equine Facilitated Learning helps build mind-body presence, connection and boundaries, and non-predatory leadership skills. EFL supports shifting from the conditioned self to the authentic self.
The conditioned self may include developmental patterns as well as internalized white supremacy patterns from the culture we live in. I support white-identifying individuals and groups in cultivating more capacity for equity and belonging. This includes addressing implicit racial bias, and cultivating right use of power.
I started studying Healing Touch in 1996 and was certified in 2000. After this foundational frame, I have studied multiple bodywork modalities, earned an M.A. in Transpersonal Psychology focused on using creative arts to identify the authentic self, and learned presence through providing hands-on care for hospice patients and their families.
I identify as a white colonizer, cis-gender, and queer. A retired black belt in karate, I enjoy creating art, dancing, and cooking.
