Gail Ide, RN(retired) BSN

Always believing there was more to existence, starting in 1993, she has been taking classes and practicing Healing Touch, an energy medicine modality from the Healing Touch Program, the Worldwide Leader in Energy Medicine, and now, as a Healing Touch Certified Practitioner. She is charter member of the Healing Touch Professional Association and since 1988 a member of the American Holistic Nurses Association. She attained the title of Reiki Master in 2007, and Hibiscus Moon Certified Crystal Healer in 2020. She has been a Registered Nurse since 1993 and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Misericordia University. Currently she is retired from nursing. Nursing experience includes case management in home health and hospice, supervising in nursing homes and doing public health for Pennsylvania Department of Health / Northeast District. For more than thirteen years as Maternal Child Health Nursing Consultant covering the Northeast’s ten counties, she initiated breastfeeding coalitions in eight of her counties. She initiated a Parish Nurse Program in a local church and is presently a Parish Nurse in another church. Outside activities include being on the Council of the Luzerne County Penn State Cooperative Extension Association, and an active member of the Order of Eastern Star and enjoys singing in her church choir and gardening. Living with her husband, Doug, cat Mimi, and dog, Lexie.
