I retired from a 20-year career as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in 2019 when I moved from Maryland to Santa Fe, New Mexico. While I loved my rewarding work as a psychotherapist, I felt a longing to work more from a spiritual realm and so found the Healing Touch Program.  HT has felt like a natural progression in my career path. My earlier career/ undergraduate work was in the environmental field. During that period, I spent two years doing forestry and wildlife research in a West African rain forest through my service with the Peace Corps. It was in West Africa that I had my first introduction to mysticism.

I currently volunteer for three wonderful non-profits: I am on the Board of Trustees for the Healing Touch Worldwide Foundation (HTWF); I provide aid and HT at a lovely hospice house; and I care for elderly horses, dogs and poultry on a 5-acre Animal Sanctuary, where I also get to use HT for Animals (HTA) on these beautiful souls.

My own personal journey resulting from HT treatments has been profound, on all levels: mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. I had an especially deep experience in which HT enabled me to heal from trauma that I had been carrying for many years. I am therefor eager to share the beautiful experience of HT with others.
