Betty developed healing skills through a lifetime of meditative practices.  She chose the education and professional guidance of HTP to establish a private energy medicine practice, where she focuses on healing, and on enhancing self-care and wellness, with techniques from the Healing Touch Program.

Betty assists clients in maintaining a healthy energy system and to enhance their wellness.  Clients seek Healing Touch to relieve stress, achieve the Relaxation Response, take a preventive approach to health, create a sense of well being and vitality, strengthen the immune system, create emotional balance with which to face the rigorous demands of daily life in a positive way, deepen spiritual connections, and to provide clarity and focus for forward movement toward life goals. 

Betty is involved in integrative healthcare, using HT as a complementary modality in hospital programs, where she brings the benefits of HT to patients, their families, and the nurses, doctors, and staff in the hospital setting, Hospice, and Caregiver Centers.  She has provided more than 3,000 hours of relief and support to patients on Medical, Med/Surg, Surgery, Orthopedic, Physical Medicine, Oncology, Maternity, Telemetry, and ICU units.  She accepts referrals for clients/patients who can benefit from the support of a complementary energy therapy during the course of their medical treatment. 

Betty would also like to assist in energy medicine research as an energy practitioner should anyone be designing energy medicine research requiring practitioners.
