I hsve been interested in Energy Medicine since 1979 when I first studied with the Spiritual Science Fellowship in Canada. When I moved to San Diego I started taking Healing Touch classes. I was very fortunate to take all my classes from Janet Mentgen, the founder of the program. In San Diego I became a Healing Touch Instructor and started teaching at Southwestern College and level 1 and level 11 are still being taught there. I taught over one thousand students at the College.

I had a private practice, Healing from the Center.  I went on and completed my PhD in Nursing at the University of San Diego and my research was,The Use of Healing Touch to Reduce Fatigue in Patients Taking Interferon for Hepatitis C.  It was presented in several conferences in the US, Canada and Australia.

My true focus is oncology nursing.  I was named Oncology Nurse of the Year for US in 2000.  I have provided Healing Touch to hundreds of oncology patients in Canada, the USA, Mexico and Haiti.  Three of the people I have treated who had a double mastectomy never took a pain pill afterwards. 

I presently live on the Big Island of Hawaii.  I recently treated a patient who was referred to me from a Radiation Oncologist at Kona Community Hospital.  He had never heard of Healing Touch and was not sure how it could work. After one session he reported reduced pain and lifting of his depression and asked to receive more sessions.
