Bio: Gregory Falvey BSN, RN-BC, HNB-BC, HTCP. Falvey, recently retired RN working at a 150-bed community hospital in Minnesota. Falvey provides a holistic helping hand throughout the hospital for patients experiencing pain, anxiety and difficulty sleeping. Falvey provided Healing Touch to patients who have exhausted conventional treatments for pain or are unable to take medications due to low respirations or soft vital signs. Working with the Pain and Palliative department, Falvey received consultations for patients who may benefit from Healing Touch treatments as part of their multi-modal plan of care. Many of the referrals from Pain and Palliative include patients with chronic pain. Falvey, working as an RN since 2010, started taking classes with the Healing Touch Program in 2011 and became a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner in 2020. He has integrated Healing Touch and other holistic principles into his nursing practice.
