Amira Jacobs is a Healing Touch Practitioner, Certified Yoga Teacher.  In 2019 Amira received the GHP Alternative Medicine and Holistic Health Award for Healing Touch and produced a short documentary entitled "A Light Down the Hall: Tracy 's Journey"; a video illustrating the benefits of energy based therapies.

In 2020 Amiraj Healing was awarded "Best Natural Stress Relief and Pain Management Clinic - Calgary" by The Health, Beauty and Wellness Awards sponsored by Lux Magazine (UK).

Providing supportive relaxation through energy healing, Amira delivers gentle energy treatments to clients with anxiety, depression, ADHD, chronic physical pain and other health issues. She is experienced in caring for MS, pallitive, cancer and Alzheimer's patients. Operating from a compassionate, non-judgemental heart-space is central to her work.

Amira has been practicing Healing Touch since 2011 and continues to grow her Calgary practice while maintaining an active presence in the community. She is passionate about educating the public on the benefits of Healing Touch through workshops, events and volunteer opportunities and brings an accessible and thoughtful approach to yoga in her classes and private sessions. 

In addition to Amira’s healthcare based background, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in social and cultural anthropology from the University of Calgary, bringing her lifelong interest in all elements of the human condition together.  On her day off she will be joyfully immersed in the arts, music, cooking and filmmaking!
