Katie taught high school and college biology for several years before taking time off to raise four children and participate in community volunteer initiatives. She was introduced to Healing Touch in 2003.

Full time practice since 2005. Specific areas of experience: integrative medicine, fibromyalgia, pain management, stress management, anxiety, depression, cancer, cord release, trauma release, lifestyle choices/self care, spiritual enhancement.
Frequent workshop and retreat leader to health care professional groups, children (trained in My Helpful Healing Touch), and the general public.

Katie brings to her practice a solid foundation of knowledge and experience in Holistic Counseling, Advanced Practice Techniques and Energetic Transformations (including trauma release and cord release), Energetic Anatomy and Physiology, Hospice Volunteer Services, Healing Touch for Children, Healing Touch for Animals, and Shamanic Studies, as well as a high level of professionalism, serving as a qualified mentor for the Healing Touch Program.

This energetic approach has transformed the way Katie views anatomy and physiology, health and healing. She encourages you to tap into your innate healing potential, enhancing physical, social, emotional, mental, and spiritual growth, balance, and healing.

She is a facilitator, your partner in the healing process, and emphasizes the importance of disease prevention, enhanced focus and creativity, life balance, and general well-being, making referrals to other healthcare providers when necessary.

Katie believes in an integrative holistic approach to health care for all ages and stages of life, with Healing Touch providing the bridge between conventional and complementary/alternative care.
