Elizabeth's first experience with Healing Touch was during her own cancer treatment and recovery in 2008. She credits Healing Touch with getting her through the roughest parts of the treatment and keeping her cancer free. Inspired by this experience, she began studying Healing Touch and Healing Touch for Animals.

Based on her personal experience, Elizabeth feels that one of HT's most powerful benefits is providing support to those receiving treatement within the western medical system (e.g., surgery, chemotherapy, pharmaceuticals, and invasive testing) for acute and chronic conditions to ensure healing occurs on all levels: emotion, mental, spiritual as well as physical.

While she works with clients across a wide spectrum of concerns, her focus is on supporting people undergoing treatment for and recovery from major illnesses and injuries. She also aims to support people as they navigate major life events such as job changes, retirement, pregnacy/childbirth, marriage/divorce, and grief.

With several members of her family who are LGBTQ, she is a passionate ally and supports those struggling with everyday challenges as well as issues specific to the LGBTQ community such as identity, anxiety, and transition (hormonal and surgical). 

She sees clients in her home and remotely; she has clients across the U.S.

Elizabeth is also a Healing Touch for Animals Certified Practitioner. She provides both in-person sessions at clients' homes and remote sessions. She works with all types of domestic pets and service animals including horses and ponies professionally and on a volunteer basis.
